Men’s Ministries Our Men’s Ministries emphasize growing in godly leadership as we seek to learn how to be more effective in the home and workplace. Our men truly desire to be "God’s kind of man" in their relationships with their wives, children, co-workers, and neighbors. Evangelism, Bible studies, and personal accountability groups are available.
Women’s Ministries Our Women’s Ministries emphasize women ministering to women. Some meetings are designed to help women grow in becoming more Christ like as wives, mothers, homemakers, or effective servants in the workplace. Bible studies and personal accountability groups are available. Youth In Action Exciting and dynamic activities are conducted with a purpose as we seek to assist parents in the development of these future leaders. Our focus is on applying truth already learned, fostering good friendships, and learning the joy of serving. |

Kids Alive A group of friendly, committed, and trained workers serve our children each week. With a teacher and an assistant for the class, the children are well supervised, and proper attention is given to each child. The Puppet Ministry challenges and encourages each young person in his/her spiritual life. Our classes are not presently age-graded because of space. When space is provided in the future the children will be age group and graded to allows the young people to be around children their own age. Nursery Our trained workers make sure that the nursery is a safe and secure environment. We desire that each child enjoys his/her nursery experience and that parents are allowed to worship and serve without concern. It is our prayers to provide a standard nursery facility in the future with the availability of funds to pay for a larger space for our church Church Bible Study and Fellowship
  Learning biblical truths and applying them at any age is a important step toward handling life successfully. Nearly 50 of those coming to our church are involved in a Sunday school class and Friday evening Bible study classes. Our teaching and learning experience is practical, helpful, enjoyable, and challenging to worshipers. This nurturing in the Word of God is helpful for spiritual growth and maturity. Singles Ministry Life in Christ and the church is very important. In the ministry we bring completeness and meaning to life. It is desire that members of our church and those who come to fellowship will find peace and happiness in Jesus Christ. Our single ministry is directed to those who have never been married to those who are single parents, each person works hard to apply biblical principles to the unique problems of life faced by single people. Usually, people start attending the class during their mid-thirties. A variety of activities is planned, and most activities include the children of class members.

Discipleship/Small Group Ministries Discipleship is our way of getting acquainted and knowing that a person is "part of our church family. We believe everyone has a special place of service in our church. Our small groups of discipleship help each person get answers for specific questions and struggles in his/her life. New members are trained and taught the truth of the New Birth experience and the importance of being a Baptist and what they should know as part of the faith and practice. Counseling Ministry Since the establishment of the church, the Refuge Baptist Biblical Counseling Ministries has provided biblical counseling services to the church and its community. It is our sincere desire to help those who are lonely, disturb, hurting and struggling with the various problems in life to find practical and life-changing truths and transformation from the Word of God. Counseling at Refuge is FREE of charge and is provided by our dynamic staffs at Refuge Baptist Church.

It is our the goal and passion of our Praise and Worship Team to make each worship exciting, rewarding, and spirit fill.The Praise Team uses contemporary, traditional and spiritual songs as we celebrate to the glory of God. In Praise and Worship they lead us into the presence of the Most High God, where all worshippers young and old are usher into the Holy of Holies press passing the veil of the flesh and worshiping God in the fullness of the Spirit.
Music Ministry
The music ministry of the church uses music that are contemporary and traditional in nature to meet to spiritual orientation of our congregation. The worship team use variety of styles to meet our needs and fit the days message of our pastor. Praise and worship help enrish the days worship. It is inspirational, uplighting and spirit fill. All members of the congregation praise and dance to the sound of music as they bless the Holy Name of the Lord.
Refuge Baptist Ushers Ministry One of the most visible and necessary of all the ministries at the Refuge Baptist Church is our Ushers Ministry! Faithful men and women are chosen to serve the Lord and church. They assist our members and visitors with locating seats, handling out bulletins, taking the Lord’s offering, giving directions and answering questions. They help to control crowds on special occasions and events. Their main goal is to welcome worshipers and make them feel at home as they attribute friendliness and kindness. The ushers at our church enjoy serving the Lord and his people. ‘Do you need a place to worship? Do you need help finding a seat? Have you any question about our church?
